What for Snooki won’t dress in a bikini

We don’t know when was the last time Snooki was anywhere near 90lbs or even 115bs.But there are lots of people would want to take fashion advice from her anyway.

Although Miami is the place of the barely-there bikini, "Jersey Shore’s" Nicole "Snooki" Polizzi chose for one-piece bathing suits when filming season 2 of MTV’s hit reality show. But not because she’s joyless with her body.

"I would rather be dressed in a sexy one-piece whether I am weighty or down to 89 pounds," Snooki, 22, tells PEOPLE. "I wore one-piece suits while I was really thin to hide my nakedness in a sexy way. I believe they are more provocative as it makes men want to see more of me."

Snooki admits she got weight in Miami, where she indulged in junk food and plenty of tequila during late night parties at South Beach clubs like Ocean’s 10 and Tantra. "I do want to feel healthy," she says. "After eating fast food and drinking booze every day in Miami, I know I need to lose weight. I like to feel better. I plan to go back to eating salads and chicken without drinking."

Snooki also plans on working out, but in a happy and familiar way. "I was more fit while I was cheerleading in university," she says. "I will hit the physical education building and do cheerleading stunts for some good exercise in coming days."

But her wish to lose weight has nothing to do with the exotic, bikini-clad beauties who flock to Miami’s beaches. "My self image was good when I came down to Miami in March and it’s fine now," she says. "We all have flaws. We work within them to look our best."

What’s more, taking the beach, she thinks, shouldn’t be about comparing yourself to others. "My classmates and I just go to hang out and enjoy ourselves," says Snooki, who spray tans herself with a portable machine for a richer tone before and after sunbathing. "We don’t sit around thinking how hot we look. We want to see how hot the guys are."

Somebody may have never seen this show, but they should have seen the commercial that a clip of 2 very muscular, oily orange guys without shirts all hugging up on each other.
