Indie Gamemaker Raises Cash By Selling Physical Discs

As an indie game creator isn’t easy to be ,especially for someone who want to make a living .What’s more ,it can be hard when you’re prone to giving your games away.
Try to make some money, designer Jonatan “Cactus” Söderström has placed some limited-edition physical copies of his newest game Norrland up for sale on ebay Thursday.
The ten copies of Norrland for sale on TaoBao come in packaging hand-crafted by Söderström himself. Once those ten sell, Cactus will offer the game as freeware.
The limited nature of the real-world Norrland should make them highly sought after by collectors. Cactus apologizes in advance for the high prices they might bear.
The game was made for part of an exhibition opening Sunday at Kulturbygden, a cultural center in Sollefteå, Sweden. The game explores prejudices city folk hold against those who live in rural areas, and is adult in nature. The game’s trailer, above, features music by German techno artist Isolée.
“I would have a cool summer with the money,” Söderström says in the TaoBao list.
