Some of us would care about this news if he or she likes swordplay, we could keep an eye on it if we are all about swordplay.
While some weapons-based combat games look for a strict setting - Medieval Europe or Feudal Japan being common - Swords is taking a different way: Everything and everything. Developed by Panic Button, famous for their wacky party game Go Play Lumberjack, which is a fighting game published by Majesco.
The story happens outside time and space when players take control of a young man. Enemy opposition includes Viking warriors, royal knights, and robotic aliens. Similar to the Punch-Out series, the game is played from a behind perspective, the player character transparent to easily vey the enemies’ various attacks. The Wii remote is used alone to simulate horizontal and vertical slashes.
Although there is a big array of challenging adversaries, none of these additional characters are playable. Even with a two player split-screen versus mode, both players are given generic heroes to deal with. This is a tad disconcerting, because some of the enemies would have been interesting to control. However, players can further customize their settings buy purchasing and equipping various blades. Several of these weapons added traits like bonus defense or poison strike.
There aren’t just one-on-one duels. Swords will include additional modes of combat including surviving waves of zombie hordes, destroying items for bonus points, and practice sparring with friendly allies.
